Parking @BA151UJ Bradford on Avon
A Walk Around Trowbridge Starting from Bradford on Avon and following the Kennet and Avon Canal.Its Actually 3.26 miles along the canal with Bridges and the Canal to keep you company.Once you turn off at Whaddon lane we follow a very easy Road and Byway graveled .At end turn right on to Green Lane .
Then it all went wrong as the new estate at Paxton is being built no Footpaths, Signs or diversions in Place ,also a useless security guard said he started the day before wouldn't let us cross the 10th of a mile to Footpath !!!! so decided to return across Hilperton to Canal and retrace footsteps along Canal to Home .

Ladydown Bridge No 169 on the Kennet and Avon Canal (Main Line) between Devizes Wharf (10 miles and 6½ furlongs and 36 locks to the east) and Bradford and Frome Road Wharves (2 miles and 2¾ furlongs to the west).
