Download Walk
With snow on the forecast we headed to the hills of Lansdown,Bath
when we previously did part of this walk on our Bath Perimeter walk in June 2014 with very hot temperatures blue skies perfect walking I'd say ! But today A light sprinkling of snow made it all look equally stunning and blue skies to start.
Starting From A housing estate in Weston called Eastfield Avenue head towards the Cotswold Way which soon climb up towards Lansdown top
snow beginning to melt as sunshine was getting Warm ! Muddy tracks with melt water but the views all around made it worth it .
Soon at Beckfords Tower looking down over into Weston and southern Bath .Snow quite thick here, well 2 inches anyway
This view looks towards the Mendip hills
Snowy tracks
A Stunning View ?
Football a hard game especially today ! well i say hard :{
Virgin Tracks
A Green oasis
From the cotswold way looking towards Bristol
and again.......
Suspension Bridge and Bristol
Resting
4 Sheep on Skyline
Kelston Knoll looking good
A Lone snowman admiring the view
Coming down the Cotswold way into weston
Andy saw sideburns? you see them ?
Where We Were Earlier and Andys lighter still is !
Kelston Knoll Trigpoint
No snow now !
Bath Below and Finish
A Great Walk if a little muddy in places although short at 8.7 miles take your time on this stunning walk its worth it !!
